WED NITE RACE 3
We were fortunate to have guest this Wed being Massimo from Southern Wind and an Italian, Franco or something similar who is a professional trimmer(who jumped off trhe boat as soon as we docked as he had to ge tto the airport to fly off to a Farr 40 regatta overseas). We experienced light winds which does not bode Well for HP, this with a terrible start pretty much ended any potential of a good result but we did try and claw our way back up the fleet only to be luffed on a reach leg and held in that position for about two minutes by a 50 footer... I think they were scared that a 38 footer could pass them on a reach leg???? Anyway through this manouver lots of boats were able to slip by, thus ending any chance of at least consolidating in the results.
Aboard were: Ian, Dale, Michael, Matej, Walter, Siger, Sandy, Assaf, Tony, MAssimo and Franco(whatever).
